When you start looking for a welding job, remember if there is metal, then there is room for a welder. Welding jobs are generally not hard to find if you live in an industrial area. The education required to obtain a welding job is generally based on job experience. There are some new facilities and machines that require a great deal of training. On the other hand if you do not have the desire to work with this new found highly technical equipment, you might have to take a welding test. Welding tests are given by employers to see what their prospective employees are made of. If you can pass the employers welding test, then you will be qualified to work there.
