On Wednesday October 17th, 2018 IWA attended the American Welding Society’s panel which discussed the topic, “Closing the Gap – Skilled Trade Workforce” which helps educational facilities in the welding industry and current industry experts in welding work together in order to put more students to work and make them more valuable to the companies that are hiring.
Our President, Mr. Horn, sat on the educational panel for the discussion along side other area schools and colleges, opposite of industry experts who are employed by a few of the larger companies in the industry.
We were very happy to see our staff come out to represent Industrial Welding Academy and support our school!
